MEANT TO BE♥

I GOT A JOB!!!

Well, actually I started last October 30, and my post is kinda late! But whatthehell, I am now employed!!! :)

This post tells the tale of how I believe that my current job is the one meant for me

On the 13th of October, the day before my fourth month in Doha, I told myself when I woke up: THIS IS THE DAY♥

I don't know what the day lays for me, but I have that gut feeling that something big will be coming. And that afternoon, I got a call from an HR officer of QMedia. I was overwhelmed and excited at the same time, but that's only the beginning of the story of how I got my job. Rewind to everything that happened before that, I have almost four months of searching for the right job, countless phone calls and emails sent and received, two interviews and job offers that knocked on my door, but nothing was as meant to be as my job now.

And now, I am a Project Assistant in QMedia Events! I am so thrilled and honor. I know that this job is a freelance job (I only have 3months contract with them), but whatthehell, I love my job! And I'm praying that they get to keep me as one of the regulars! :)

You know what they say that if something's meant for you it will eventually happen, and that God doesn't just give you what you want, He will give You what you need and more. Well, that is exactly what happened. See, I've been searching for a job, and that I've been praying for a job that I'll be happy, something that I'm good, that I can use what I learned and a job that will help me fulfill all my dreams.  I prayed every night, I wanted to be a newscaster before, so I applied to all job posting on Al Jazeera English, I know it's a long shot, but I wanted to try. Also I said that I wanted to work in a company located in West Bay, because that place reminded of Ayala in Makati, and if I'm working there I wouldn't feel so far from my hometown. And also, I prayed that I can get a job in the Advertising/Marketing field, because that is my area of expertise, I aced those test and activities in school, and I know I'll be good in that job. I told God that, whatever job he gave me, one of those three, I'll be happy. An you know what... HE GAVE ME ALL OF THOSE THREE THINGS :) Funny how God works :)

I AM NOW IN AN ADVERTISING COMPANY, LOCATED IN WEST BAY, IN A BUILDING CALLED AL JAZEERA TOWER

When I learned all those stuff, I laughed, and thanked Him. It's like wow God, your bigger plans are kinda, oh well I'll admit it, they are OH SO AWESOME♥♥♥

And oh by the way, I do think it's meant for me, why? All those four months, I brought my phone where ever I go, even in the bathroom, just in case someone calls, but you know what? I missed two calls from QMedia, and I only got to answer the call, the third time because I just went outside my bedroom to get water. Pretty awesome, huh?
